Faith is believing in things when common sense tells you not to.

I love that quote. It is from the movie "Miracle on 34th Street." It has to be one of my favorites, the old one, with Maureen O'Hara...not the remake. Its one of those movies that makes me happy.

I saw on someone one's blog (OK I don't remeber whose...I have been reading alot!) It had a Happy List on it. I like that idea...just to list some little things that make us happy. ..ready? here I go...

Old movies
Snuggly old quits
Tulips
Casey Pizza
Scrabble
Diet Pepsi
Cousins
flannel sheets
finding something i like on sale
making cards
when my house is clean
chocolate

Thats just a start. I will add more as I think of them

Friends are chocolate chips in the cookie of life!

I am officailly a blogger now.
I love quotes. I will start each post with a favorite quote.

I have seen some great blogs. Some are wise, others funny. Mine I doubt wil be either. Just a place for me to write some things, so you can keep up on what I am doing. This will be a nice place to share good news or a vent.

Stole this from a fellow blogger...who got it from someone else...you know the drill...

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don't search around and look for the coolest book you can find. Do what's actually next to you.

so heres mine:

"First, she was driven with love for her family" hmmm...guess what its all about isn't it :)
By the way, the book was Boundries with Kids by Drs Henry Cloud and John Townsend. I great practical guide for raising kids. I highly recommend it.

c/ya soon
